Asian Style Chicken Thighs

These chicken thighs are so tender they will melt in your mouth. The combination of sweet honey, salty soy sauce and a burst of ginger work especially well in this recipe.

Ingredients

Marinade:
1/4 cup fresh ginger, peeled
3 large cloves garlic
1/2 cup hoisin sauce (found in Asian section)
2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
2 tablepoons soy sauce
8 boneless chicken thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds)
rice

Directions

In a food processor chop ginger pieces and garlic. Add hoisin, honey and soy sauce. Process until smooth.

Remove excess fat from chicken thighs. Place in a zip lock bag. Pour marinade over thighs and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.

Preheat broiler. Cover broiler pan with foil. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken pieces in one layer on prepared pan. (Discard marinade.) Broil 5-7 minutes on each side or until chicken is browned and cooked through.

Serve with rice.
