Holiday Glogg
A warming traditional holiday drink.
Ingredients
1 (750 ml) bottle Cabernet Sauvignon or other dry red wine
1 1/2 cups vodka
4 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
4 tablespoons raisins
Mulling Spices:
2 cinnamon sticks
10 cardamom pods
5 whole cloves
peel from one orange
Directions
Place wine, vodka, honey and raisins in a large pot.
Wrap all mulling spice ingredients in a square of cheese cloth. Tie with kitchen string. Add to pot. Bring ingredients to a simmer and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Discard mulling spices.
Serve drink warm in small cups adding a few raisins to the bottom of each cup.
