Blackberry Cobbler

A great old-fashioned recipe. Sure to remind you of grandmother's house.
Ingredients
1/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1 teaspoon cornstarch
4 or 5 nectarines, peeled and sliced
1/2 pint blackberries
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 Tablespoons cold butter, cut into bits
1/4 cup milk
2 Tablespoons almonds, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°.
Butter a 9-inch square baking dish.
In a bowl, combine honey and cornstarch. Stir in fruits.
In another bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add butter, blending until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in milk, until dough is just combined.
Spread fruit mixture in prepared baking dish. Drop dough on top of fruit in 4 mounds. Sprinkle almonds on top and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden.
