Autumn Apple Cranberry Pie

The favorite fruits of the season blend to make a scrumptious pie.

Ingredients

6 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into chunks
2/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup currants
2 Tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 package refrigerated pie crust (2 crusts per package)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°.

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place one pie crust into a 9-inch plate. Pour in apple mixture. Top with second pie crust.

Flute edges with a fork to seal. Cut top with 2 small slits to release steam. Bake in center of oven for 40 minutes, or until juice bubbles.

Serves: 6-8
