Apple Topping

A topping that's great for anything....waffles to ice cream.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
Directions
Melt butter in a skillet. Add apples, cinnamon and nutmeg. Saute for 3 minutes. Reduce heat; add apple cider and honey. Simmer until apples are soft, about 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
Yields: 2 cups
