Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

The combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and honey is surely too difficult to resist.

Ingredients

1/4 cup shortening

1/2 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 egg

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup small chocolate chips

1/2 cup small peanut butter chips

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Beat the first 3 ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add dry ingredients and beat until well combined. Stir in chocolate and peanut butter chips. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll dough into 1″ balls. Flatten balls with fork tines dipped in flour. Bake for 10-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Yield: 3 dozen cookies.
