Honey Grilled Shrimp

Grilled shrimp marinated in a slightly spicy tomato sauce make a quick and easy supper. The simplicity of the ingredients lets the sweet flavor of the shrimp shine.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Sauce:

2/3 cup picante sauce

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

3 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes. Lightly oil grill rack and heat to medium.
In a small bowl whisk together all sauce ingredients. Add prepared shrimp and toss to coat. Place 5 shrimp on each skewer. Do not pack tightly. Place on grill and cook, turning once until shrimp are cooked through, basting often with sauce.
