Tangy Lemon Dessert Sauce

Spoon this versatile sauce over pound cake, angel food cake, ice cream or just about anything.

Ingredients

1/2 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 tablespoon cornstarch

3/4 cup warm water

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

4 thin lemon slices, cut in half

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Directions

In a small saucepan whisk together honey, cornstarch and warm water. Bring to a boil over a medium-high heat, stirring for about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and return to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool. Refrigerate until ready to use.
