Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with non-stick cooking spray.
Unfold pastry sheet. Cut into 4 equal squares.
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and honey. Spread 1/4 of cheese mixture on each pastry square, leaving a 1-inch border.
Mix together cranberries and raisins. Spoon fruit over cream cheese. Brush border with beaten egg. Fold pastry over to form a triangle. Crimp edges by pressing a fork on border. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle each with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
Place turnovers on prepared sheet. Bake about 20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
