Peaches in White Wine with Basil

Simple elegance. Ripe, juicy summer peaches, the fresh taste of basil and crisp white wine served in a parfait glass.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Riesling wine

1/4 cup fresh basil, silvered

4 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

4 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick

To make honey, bees drop the collected nectar into the honeycomb and then evaporate it by fanning their wings.

Directions

Whisk together Riesling, basil and honey in a medium glass bowl. Add peach slices and toss to coat. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
Refrigerate 1-4 hours before serving.
