Ingredients
4 ears fresh corn, kernels cut from the cobs (using a serrated knife seems to work best)
2 strips bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces and cooked until just crisp
2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
2 scallions, chopped
Honey Tips
Honey Bees Need Water
To keep their hives strong, beekeepers must place them in locations that will provide abundant nectar sources as well as water.
Directions
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Blanch corn kernels for 1-2 minutes. Drain and run under cold water to stop cooking. Drain well.
Place bacon pieces on an 18-inch strip of foil. Spoon corn on top of bacon. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with scallions. Fold foil and seal tightly using another piece on top if necessary. Grill for 6-8 minutes or bake in a preheated 475° oven for 10-12 minutes.
Open package carefully to let steam escape when serving.
