Grilled Tuna Steaks

This mildly pungent marinade is a Japanese inspiration that brings a mellow flavor to grilled tuna.

Ingredients

Marinade:

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

2 Tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 Tablespoon white wine

1 Tablespoon cider vinegar

1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon ground ginger

2 scallions, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

4 tuna steaks

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a large shallow dish stir together marinade ingredients until well combined. Add tuna and turn to coat on all sides. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1-2 hours, turning occasionally.
Prepare barbecue grill or oven broiler. Grill 5 minutes on each side or until done.
