Linguine with Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce

The perfect light meal for summer.


1/2 cup sliced almonds

4 garlic cloves, diced

1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons olive oil

1 1/2 Tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground

1 pound tomatoes, cut into chunks

1 1/2 cups fresh basil

1 pound linguine

Honey Is Sweeter Than Sugar

Due to the high level of fructose, honey is 25% sweeter than table sugar.


In a food processor add the first five ingredients and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add tomatoes and basil and process until smooth.
Cook linguine in boiling water until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain pasta and put into a large bowl. Add sauce and toss.
