Pasta Salad Nicoise

This salad gives pasta a Mediterranean flair.

Ingredients

1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

1 pound rotini pasta

2 (6 ounce) cans solid white tuna packed in water, drained and broken into pieces

4 tablespoons onion, chopped

2 large tomatoes, seeded and chopped

1 cup pitted black olives, chopped

3/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

salt and pepper to taste

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add salt if desired. Add string beans and cook for 4 minutes. Remove immediately to a colander with slotted spoon.
Using the same pot of water, cook pasta until just al dente. Rinse with cold water and drain thoroughly.
In a large bowl combine next 4 ingredients. Add green beans and drained pasta.
Combine mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, honey and celery salt. Mix dressing into salad. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serves 6.
