Peach Cobbler

Peaches are at their best in the summer and we can't think of a better way to enjoy them than in a cobbler; that is next to eating them right off the tree.

Ingredients

6 peaches, peeled and sliced into wedges

1/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 Tablespoons butter

1 egg, lightly beaten

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Lay peach slices in a glass baking dish. Drizzle honey over peaches, then cinnamon. Cut one tablespoon of the butter into small pieces. Place on top of the peaches. In a medium bowl mix the egg, sugar and the other tablespoon of butter. Sift flour and baking powder into egg mixture and stir until blended. Spoon mixture over top of peaches. Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
