Quick Tomato Soup

Ingredients

2 (28 ounce) cans whole tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup onion, sliced

1 cup celery, chopped

2 Tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

4 Tablespoons butter or margarine

2 Tablespoons flour

4 cups chicken broth

1/4 teaspoon paprika

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a large pot, simmer tomatoes, onion and celery for 15 minutes. Add honey and stir. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour stirring until smooth. Add broth and paprika, stirring until thickened. Add to tomato mixture. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serves 4-6.
