Honey Tips

How Honey Is Created

Honey is created when bees mix plant nectar, a sweet substance secreted by flowers, with their own bee enzymes.

Heat oil in a large skillet or saucepan. Add onion and garlic. Sauté until onion is golden. Stir in tomatoes, vinegar, honey and wine. Bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes. Add cooked meatballs. Simmer another 10-15 minutes. Stir in basil.
Serve sauce and meatballs over cooked pasta. Top with grated Parmesan.
