Spiced Plums over Ice Cream

Take advantage of the summer plums in your market.

Ingredients

2 pounds ripe plums, halved, pitted and cut into thick slices

1 tablespoon butter

1/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

vanilla ice cream

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add honey and sliced plums. Saute until plums are tender and liquid becomes a thick glaze, about 6 minutes. Stir in cinnamon. Serve warm over ice cream.
