Honey Tips
How Honey Is Created
Honey is created when bees mix plant nectar, a sweet substance secreted by flowers, with their own bee enzymes.
Directions
In a large skillet heat 3 tablespoons olive oil. Add onion and sauté for about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and continue cooking another 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, lemon juice, honey, capers and pepper flakes. Simmer 10 minutes over low heat. Stir in basil.
In another large skillet heat remaining 3 tablespoons olive oil. Sprinkle tuna with salt and pepper. Add to hot pan and cook 3 minutes. Turn steaks over and cook another 3 minutes. Spoon tomato-caper sauce over fish. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until tuna is just cooked through. Do not overcook.
