Honey Tips

How Honey Is Created

Honey is created when bees mix plant nectar, a sweet substance secreted by flowers, with their own bee enzymes.

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°.
Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add apples wedges and drizzle with honey. Cook 3 minutes, turn wedges and cook another 3 minutes or until apples are golden and begin to brown. Remove from heat.
Spread one tablespoon of cream cheese on the cut side of each bagel. Place on a cookie sheet. Top each half with 4 apple wedges. Sprinkle each with one tablespoon of cheddar cheese. Divide bacon pieces and scallions over bagels.
Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm.
