Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium saucepan combine butter, honey and cinnamon. Heat until butter is melted and stir until ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat. Stir in oats. Spoon onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring once. Remove from oven and stir in almonds and coconut. Return to oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes until granola is just beginning to brown, stirring several times.
Remove from oven. Toss with dried fruit. Let cool to crisp. Store in a zip lock bag or airtight container.
