Fruit and Nut Tea Sandwiches

Threse pretty little sandwiches topped with a slice of strawberry or grape, are perfect fare for an afternoon tea. For an interesting presentation, vary the breads.

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package mascarpone cheese

2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/4 cup pecans, chopped

rasin bread, pumpernickel party bread, crackers

strawberries, sliced

seedless grapes, halved

fresh parsley for garnish, if desired

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a small bowl mix together cheese, honey and pecans. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Remove crusts of raisin bread, discard. Cut bread diagonally into 4 triangles. Spread a spoonful of cheese mixture on breads and crackers. Top with a slice of strawberry or 1/2 grape. Arrange on a platter. Tuck a few small parsley sprigs amongst sandwiches for garnish.
Serves: 6-8 as an appetizer
