Spicy White Bean Chili

This chili gets heat from spicy Italian sausage and a deep rich flavor from the fire-roasted tomatoes.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup onion, coarsely chopped

3/4 pound hot Italian sausage, casings removed and crumbled

2 large cloves garlic, minced

2 (14.5 ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes

2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

2 tablespoons canned chopped green chilies, or to taste

1 teaspoon ground cumin

2 teaspoons chili powder

1 (15.5 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion and sausage. Sauté 5 minutes crumbling sausage as it browns. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
