Barbecued Black Beans and Rice

Ingredients

2 cans (16 oz each) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (14 1/2 oz) Italian-style stewed tomatoes

1 can (4 oz) chopped green chili peppers

1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn

3 Tablespoons barbecue sauce

1 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

3/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

salt and pepper, to taste

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over cooked rice. Garnish with sour cream or shredded cheese, if desired. Serves 4.
