4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Using electric mixer beat eggs and sugar until light. Add honey, vanilla and melted butter. Continue to beat until well blended.
Line bottom of pie shell with pecans. Slowly pour filling into crust.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes until brown and bubbly. Cool on rack. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
