Apple Glazed Pork Loin

Applesauce and pork bring back memories of families gathered around the Sunday dinner table.

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin roast

Rub:

1 1/2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground mustard

1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Applesauce Glaze:

1 cup applesauce

1/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 325°.
Mix rub ingredients together and spread onto pork. Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast in pan and cook for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile combine all glaze ingredients.
Remove roast from oven and coat with applesauce mixture. Return to oven and continue cooking for 50-60 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 165°.
