Grilled Marinated Pork Chops

The combination of apple, honey and sage is a perfect complement to pork. Marinating the chops keeps them juicy and tender.

Ingredients

Marinade:

1 1/2 cups apple juice or cider

4 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons dried sage or 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped

2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

4 center-cut pork chops, 3/4 – 1-inch thick

Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

In a small bowl whisk together all marinade ingredients. Pour into a zip lock plastic bag. Add pork chops. Marinate 2 – 4 hours.
Remove chops from bag. Grill or broil until meat is no longer pink inside, about 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness of pork.
