Honey Tips
Honey Is Magic
In the days before biology and botany were understood, people thought it was a special kind of magic that turned flower nectar into honey.
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 °.
Place butter in an 8-inch square pan. Put in oven to melt butter. Place pear halves cut side down in butter. Bake 15 – 20 minutes or until pears are just tender. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over pears and bake 5 more minutes.
Remove from oven and place each pear half on a plate along with one slice of goat cheese. Spoon juices from pan over pears and then drizzle pears and cheese with honey. Sprinkle with a little freshly ground pepper.
