Honey Tips

How Honey is Made

To make honey, bees drop the collected nectar into the honeycomb and then evaporate it by fanning their wings.

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add ham slice and cook 4 minutes. Turn slice and cook another 4 minutes until golden. Remove to a platter and keep warm.
In the same skillet sauté shallots until golden, about 4 minutes. Stir in ginger, cook one minute. Add apple cider, honey, vinegar, mustard seeds and mustard. Bring to a boil. Boil on high 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in butter and raisins. Heat until butter melts. Spoon sauce over ham to serve.
