Apricot, Almond & Coconut Candies

These candies are easy to make and delicious. Great for holiday gift giving.

Ingredients

1 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

12 ounces dried apricots, finely chopped

1 cup blanched almonds, slivered

1/2 cup coconut, or more if needed

How Honey is Made

To make honey, bees drop the collected nectar into the honeycomb and then evaporate it by fanning their wings.

Directions

In a medium saucepan bring honey to boil. Add apricots and boil 5 minutes or until mixture comes away from sides of pan. Stir in almonds. Cool mixture.
Place coconut in a bowl. Drop mixture by spoonfuls into coconut. Roll to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Yields: 30-40 pieces
