How Honey Is Created
Honey is created when bees mix plant nectar, a sweet substance secreted by flowers, with their own bee enzymes.
Directions
Preheat broiler. Using a knife, cut away the peel and white pith grapefruit. Drain off juice. Separate grapefruit segments and arrange in a broiler proof dish. Drizzle evenly with honey. Place under broiler about 3 inches from heat. Broil until grapefruit begins to brown, about 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
