4 cups Crispix cereal
1/2 cup walnut pieces
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSSOM HONEY
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dried Fruit Bits, dried tropical trio or chopped dried fruit of your choice
Honey Never Spoils
No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.
In a large bowl combine cereal and walnuts. Set aside.
In a small saucepan heat sugar and honey until warm. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Remove from heat. Pour over cereal and toss. Spoon onto prepared pan. Bake 5 minutes. Stir. Continue baking another 3 minutes. Remove from oven and stir in dried fruit pieces. Let cool. Store in ziplock bags.
Yields: approximately 7 cups
