Ingredients
24 vanilla wafers
2 cups mixed dried fruit, (cranberries, cherries, apples) or Fruit Bits found in dried fruit section. You will need 2 (7 ounce) packages to get 2 cups.
1 tablespoon orange zest
4 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods
Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Pulse vanilla wafers in food processor until finely chopped. (Should yield 1 cup.) Transfer to a bowl.
Pulse dried fruit and orange zest in food processor until finely chopped.
In a medium saucepan combine honey, brown sugar, orange juice, butter and vegetable oil. Bring to a simmer, stirring. Mix in wafer crumbs and dried fruit. Remove from heat. Cool for 5 minutes.
With dampened hands, roll fruit mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball to coat in confectioners’ sugar or cocoa powder. Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
Yield: approx. 3 dozen
