Glorious Grapes

These grapes make a great snack or appetizer for your next party. The tangy syrup infuses the grapes with an unusual sweet-tart taste that you will find irresistible. Another terrific recipe from our friend Jackie.

Ingredients

3 cups red seedless grapes, stemmed, rinsed and drained

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Honey has different flavors and colors, depending on the location and kinds of flowers the bees visit. Climatic conditions of the area also influence its flavor and color.

Directions

In a medium pan combine water, vinegar and honey. Bring to a boil. Let boil 1 minute. Stir in cinnamon, vanilla and grapes. Bring to a boil. Let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Pour into a bowl to cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To serve, remove grapes from liquid. Place in a bowl and set a small container of toothpicks nearby.
Yields: 3 cups of grapes
