Gourmet Hamburgers

These burgers are filled with mozzarella that melts right into the meat when you throw them on the grill.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef

1/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup capers, drained (optional)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

2 tomatoes, peeled and diced

2 egg yolks

4 sundried tomatoes, chopped (optional)

6 Tablespoons mozzarella cheese, grated

salt and pepper to taste

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

Combine all ingredients except mozzarella. Toss gently. Form into 6 patties. Make a well in the center of each one. Press 1 Tablespoon mozzarella into well. Cover mozzarella with meat. Grill over charcoal for 3 minutes on each side, or until done to taste. Serves 6.
