Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Place 4 cups of water into a blender. Add rice, cinnamon sticks and then honey. Blend for about 1 minute to chop up rice. Pour into a large glass bowl, adding any rice that may be left in the bottom of blender. Stir in remaining 1 cup of water. Cover and let sit at room temperature at least 4 hours.
Strain liquid through a fine sieve into a glass pitcher or bowl. Discard rice. Stir in vanilla and milk. Refrigerate until very cold. Stir and pour over ice cubes to serve.
