Iced Citrus Tea with Tarragon

A summer-time classic accented with the fresh taste of citrus and a refreshing hint of tarragon.

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 1 orange)

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

1/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY, or more to taste

1/4 cup water

1/3 cup fresh tarragon leaves

8 cups water

4 tea bags (such as Lipton Tea)

orange slices for garnish, if desired

Honey Tips

Honey Is Sweeter Than Sugar

Due to the high level of fructose, honey is 25% sweeter than table sugar.

Directions

In a small pan mix together orange juice, lemon juice, honey and water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and cool 20 minutes. Pour into a blender, add tarragon leaves and process until smooth. Pour mixture through a fine sieve. Discard any solids. Refrigerate mixture.
Brew tea bags in 8 cups of boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Pour tea into a large pitcher and refrigerate until well chilled. Mix in citrus-tarragon juice.
When ready to serve, stir in ice cubes and pour into large glasses. Garnish each glass with a slice of orange if desired.
