Ingredients
1 pound firm tofu, cut into 1 inch-thick slices
Drain between layers of paper towels for 30 minutes.
Marinade:
2 large dried shiitake mushrooms (about 1/4 oz), chopped
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 garlic clove, halved
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/4 teaspoon ginger

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Marinade: Bring mushrooms and water to boil in a small saucepan. Cook until tender,about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes. Place tofu in a single layer in a shallow pan. Pour marinade over tofu. Refrigerate overnight.Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.To Grill: Prepare barbecue or preheat broiler. Remove tofu from marinade and pat dry. Grill or broil, until just heated through, turning once, about 5 minutes. Transfer to platter. Pour sauce over tofu. Serve with rice and a tossed green salad. Serves 4.
