Marinated Grilled Sirloin Steak

There is nothing like eating a sizzling steak just off the grill. This marinade ensures your steaks will be tender, juicy and rich in flavor.

Ingredients

Marinade:

1/2 cup strongly brewed coffee

2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 pounds top sirloin steaks (about 1-inch thick) or cut of your choice

How Honey is Made

To make honey, bees drop the collected nectar into the honeycomb and then evaporate it by fanning their wings.

Directions

In a small bowl whisk together warm coffee and honey. Add remaining ingredients and whisk to combine. Place steaks in a Ziploc bag, pour in marinade and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. Remove steaks from bag and discard marinade.
Grill steaks 4 minutes per side for medium, turning once.
