Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 8″x4″x3″ loaf pan. Ciombine milk, eggs, and zest in a medium bowl. Combine flour, sugar, honey, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl with paddle attachment. Add the butter and half of the milk mixture and mix on medium speed until the structure of the batter forms a creamy consistency. Slowly add the rest of the milk mixture in two parts, scraping the bowl down after each addition with a rubber spatula. Scrape batter into loaf pan. Bake on middle rack of oven for 50-55 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Let cool on baking rack.
