Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Preheat oven to 325°
Combine rolled oats, wheat germ and almonds in a large bowl.
In a small pan bring to a boil honey, orange zest, orange juice and cinnamon. Drizzle over oat mixture and toss until coated.
Spray a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Spread oat mixture evenly onto baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; stir in coconut and bake for another 15 minutes until granola is golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and cool. Store in an airtight container.
