Pear Sorbet

Fruit-flavored, low-fat and light - a refreshing dessert!

Ingredients

2 (16 ounce) cans pears, drained

1/3 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

Topping

1 tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and sliced

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Place pears in a bowl and cover. Put into freezer for 30 minutes.
Remove from freezer and blend partially frozen pears in food processor or blender. Mix in citrus juices and 3 Tablespoons honey. Blend again. Return mixture to freezer.
Freeze 2-3 hours. If frozen longer, partially thaw before serving.
In a separate bowl, drizzle remaining 1 Tablespoon honey over strawberries. Mix together and chill.
To serve, top sorbet with sweetened strawberries.
