Ingredients
1 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup apple juice
3 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (6 ounce) package dried Calimyrna figs, stemmed and quartered (found in raisin or bulk section of your market)

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
In a saucepan combine wine, apple juice, honey and thyme. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add vanilla and figs. Simmer over a low heat for 5 minutes.
May be made 24 hours ahead. Warm before serving and spoon over ice cream.
