Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods
Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Place in a single layer in prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes.
Meanwhile in a small bowl stir together applesauce, honey, cinnamon and thyme.
Reduce heat to 300 °. Turn chops and spoon applesauce mixture on top. Continue baking another 20 minutes or until chops are no longer pink inside.
