Honey Tips
Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods
Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°. Lightly grease baking sheet.
Brush both sides of bread slices with oil. Lightly brush one side of each slice with warmed honey and place honey side down on baking sheet. Place tomatoes, skin side-down, next to bread slices. Top tomatoes with garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.
Bake the bread and tomatoes about 8 minutes until bread is slightly brown around the edges. Turn bread over and put cheese on top. Remove tomatoes from baking sheet and set aside.
Bake bread again 6-8 minutes until cheese melts. Remove from oven. Top with tomatoes sprinkled with basil.
