Savory Glazed Ham

Amazingly easy, this it the perfect recipe for holiday ham. The glaze, with its interesting flavors, gives the ham a beautiful, rich color.


4-5 pound fully cooked boneless ham half

1 (20 ounce) can pineapple slices, drained



2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons dry mustard

4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons instant coffee granules

Honey has different flavors and colors, depending on the location and kinds of flowers the bees visit. Climatic conditions of the area also influence its flavor and color.


Place ham in a shallow roasting pan. Cover ham with pineapple slices, securing them with toothpicks.
In a small bowl whisk together all glaze ingredients. Brush glaze over ham and pineapple slices. Place in oven and cook according to ham package directions, brushing with glaze every 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit about 10 minutes. Slice ham thinly. Place on a platter; arrange pineapple around ham and drizzle with pan drippings.
