Warm Cider Apples

Welcome autumn with this warm spicy dessert.

Ingredients

5 large apples, (preferably Granny Smith or Rome), cored and cut into thick slices

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

3 teaspoons butter

1/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/2 cup apple cider

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Toss first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. In a skillet melt the butter. Add honey, then apple mixture and cider. Saute for 1-3 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm over ice cream or pancakes.
