Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Using a sharp knife, cut a slit into the bottom crust of bread to make a small pocket. Put a spoonful of filling into the pocket of each slice. Dip bread in batter, turn and dip other side to coat. Place in a heated skillet that has been brushed with a small amount of butter or margarine. Cook over medium low heat, turning several times until cooked through, approximately 3-5 minutes per side. Serve topped with strawberry slices and drizzled with the honey lemon sauce. Serves 3-4.
