Cornbread with Orange Zest

The addition of orange zest adds a pleasing tang to the flavor of this traditional cornbread recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 cup yellow cornmeal

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 cup half and half

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1 teaspoon grated orange zest

2 eggs, lightly beaten

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 °
Spray a 9-inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix together the first 4 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until cornbread tests done.
