Honey Tips
How Honey Is Created
Honey is created when bees mix plant nectar, a sweet substance secreted by flowers, with their own bee enzymes.
Directions
In a food processor chop ginger pieces and garlic. Add hoisin, honey and soy sauce. Process until smooth.
Remove excess fat from chicken thighs. Place in a zip lock bag. Pour marinade over thighs and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
Preheat broiler. Cover broiler pan with foil. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken pieces in one layer on prepared pan. (Discard marinade.) Broil 5-7 minutes on each side or until chicken is browned and cooked through.
Serve with rice.
